Additional Information for Elections

Poll Hours: Polls open at 7 a.m. and remain open until 7 p.m., or until every eligible elector who was at the polling location or drop box location at or before 7 p.m. has been allowed to vote.

 

Replacement Ballots: Replacement ballots are available in certain situations, including if a voter is unable to leave their location, cannot travel to the polls for religious reasons, or if they work as a first responder. In this case, a replacement ballot cannot be returned later than 7 p.m.

 

Upcoming Process: Election results will start to come in tomorrow and will be finalized over the next couple weeks. Official results must be provided to DEOs by August 26. Once DEOs receive the official, certified count of votes, they will notify candidates of their election, providing them a certificate of election, and ensuring that they take the oath of office.
