Recently the results report for the parent and employee satisfaction surveys administered in November and December, as part of the district’s work with Studer Education, were given to administration and all school board members. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank those of you who took the time to complete the survey. The results of the survey provided us at Remington Elementary School with information that will help us improve our service to parents and to students. In January, during a planning session with all staff, we rolled out the data from the results report for the school district and for our school and developed an action plan for improvement based on the results from the survey.

I want to provide some key points in our results report:

  • 441 parent/caregivers completed the survey in November
  • The district mean was 86 on a 5 point scale
  • Number of parent/caregivers who completed the survey for Remington Elementary School was
  • The mean score for our school was 01 based on a 5 point scale

You (parent/caregiver) shared the things that are working well at Remington:

  • The school is clean and well maintained.
  • My child has every opportunity to be successful at this school.
  • This school provides a safe environment for my child to learn.

All Staff here is focusing on the following areas for improvement:

  • More positive phone calls, notes, or emails about your child from Remington.

Thank you again for making a difference at Remington Elementary School! We appreciate your feedback.

Sincerely,

Lisa Fillo Principal
