Eleventh grader Austin Worbington Eleventh grader Austin Worbington, 17, finishes 124 pushups, while motivated by Staff Sgt. Bobby Martin, a combat engineer assigned to the Colorado Springs Recruiting Company, along with several soldiers from 10th Special Forces Group at Fort Carson, during Month of the Military Child activities April 17 at Falcon High School in Falcon School District 49. "I've always been a hard worker -- everything I do, I try to do my best at it," said Worbington, after winning the pushup challenge. The activities were coordinated by the high school's Student 2 Student leaders, youth who sustain peer-based programs to support military children as they transition. During lunch breaks, students talked with sailors, airmen and soldiers. They made identification tags and toured a mine-resistant ambush protected vehicle, Humvee, tactical 4-wheeler and 5-ton truck with soldiers from 10th Special Forces Group at Fort Carson and Colorado Springs Recruiting Company.
