Students competed in a basketball game against teachers March 19 at Woodmen Hills Elementary. The game, part of a PTA “rent-a-teacher” campaign, raised $400 dollars for MobyMax tablets.
Students donated money to participate in the game as a player, cheerleader or spectator. Students can also donate to participate as an office assistant, teach a lesson in the classroom, or participate in other activities with teachers.
“There are some kids who really did a good job,” said Principal Kelly Warren, commenting about the students’ use of passing and teamwork which won them the game. The final score was 76-68.
