Free & Reduced Resource Page and Re-Application Reminder

Dear D49 Families,

As we work hard every day to deliver excellent education and meet critical needs for all of our families, we invite you to take a look at some important information about the overall value of the Free and Reduced Benefits Program at D49.org. We also want to share a friendly reminder that is extremely important for all qualifying families to complete the application process, regardless of the availability of meals at no cost for all D49 families. This will ensure access to all the benefits provided, which support programs at your student’s schools and includes individual assistance for school and transportation fees.

We strongly encourage all who qualify, or may qualify for the Free and Reduced Benefits Program to apply or reapply by Monday, Sept. 28. All families who do not reapply for the 2020-21 school year will be removed from the benefit program. Families who are new to the program can register and apply, and qualifying families may reapply today, by clicking this link to PaySchools Central

Important Note: The deadline to register for the state of Colorado’s Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) benefits is this Wednesday, September 23. Families eligible for the free and reduced program may get $279 in benefits for each eligible child to buy food, regardless of immigration status. Some families who received SNAP in March, April, or May got these benefits on their EBT cards automatically. All other eligible families need to apply online by the Sept. 23 deadline.

Apply today for Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) at coloradopeak.force.com/PEBT

We thank you for your trust, and we look forward to seeing and serving you soon!
