Sand Creek Graduates Inspire Young Scholars

Seniors Walking through EIES

Sand Creek High School Class of 2019 donned their graduation caps and gowns to visit elementary and middle schools, thanking former teachers and offering inspiration to young students on May 9 for their annual Senior Walk.

Graduates paraded down the hallways of four sand creek zone schools to music where they were met with cheers, claps, high-fives and congratulations on their accomplishments by students, teachers and administration.

“I thought this was cool,” said Liliana Galvan, third-grader at Springs Ranch Elementary. “I want to thank all the high school kids because they worked hard for this!”

“The senior walk was a fun experience for me and I felt it was a great way to reflect on all I have been through as well as inspire the next generation of high school students,” stated Roman Rodriguez, senior at Sand Creek High.
