Falcon High School’s Space Force Junior ROTC program was evaluated by the Regional Director for Air Force Junior ROTC on Wednesday, Jan. 31. This marked the program’s first evaluation since transitioning to the Space Force.
The cadets were evaluated on the program they run with the support of their instructors to ensure that they stay on the mission of Character, Commitment, Courage, and Connection. The cadets were inspected on their uniform and appearance, financial and database filings, and how they operate as a unit. The Aerospace 200 cadets performed their drill, and four cadets received awards as top performers.
The FHS JROTC program is one of ten Space Force units in the world, and this evaluation marks an important step in the program as the Space Force continues to evolve.
Inspector Eric Allen stated that everyone looked excellent and they performed on par with the best units he’s seen.
