SSAE students volunteer

The National Mill Dog Rescue, located in Peyton, CO, is an organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing discarded breeding dogs. NMDR began in 2007 with the pledge of trying to end the cruelty of the commercial dog breeding industry also commonly known as Puppy Mills.

Springs Studio students went to action when they learned about this organization. They learned NMDR needed volunteers and students began visiting once a month for education, chores and the chance to help socialize dogs. SSAE staff feels honored to know students may have made a difference in helping a rescue dog find its forever home by donating their time and attention.
