To support communities working through the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a second round of Pandemic-EBT benefits are available this spring.Pandemic-EBT (P-EBT) is a program that provides a one-time payment to provide extra food benefits for qualifying families. We want to make sure new and existing customers have access to the second round of benefits.
Families currently enrolled in the Free and Reduced program are eligible to receive the second round of P-EBT funding. If you have an EBT card, P-EBT benefits will be automatically added. If you don’t have a card, or need a new one, one will be mailed to qualified families, but to ensure delivery, you MUST make sure your address is correct at your student’s school. Please contact your school to confirm your information is up to date.
If this support would help your family, and you are not currently in the Free and Reduced program, it’s easy to apply!
This is the only application you need to complete. Families who qualify will also be automatically eligible to qualify for the P-EBT program.
We also encourage all families to take a look at all of the available Free and Reduced benefits at D49.org Families who qualify for Free and Reduced School Meals may also receive additional benefits such as discounted school fees, discounted internet, phone services, and additional funds for your school. Complete an application today!
Some additional things to note:
There are no immigration requirements to participate in the Free & Reduced Meal program.
School meals will continue to be free for all students until the end of this school year.
Children under 6 also qualify for this program
We thank you for your trust, and we look forward to seeing and serving you soon!
