Springs Studio For Academic Excellence Graduation, 2016

District 49 administrators, educators, Board of Education directors and community members gathered to celebrate the graduation of more than 80 students from Springs Studio for Academic Excellence. The commencement ceremony took place at The Antlers Hilton in Colorado Springs.
“Often times, the right thing and the easy thing are not the same,” said keynote speaker Andy Franko, iConnect zone superintendent. “Understand that you will not be prepared for all that life throws at you. But the more often you participate doing the right thing, the more quickly you will react in the right way.”
“We’ve grown up in such a small and unique environment which allowed us to grow and learn from each other, as much as with each other,” said Tayla Hackett, student commencement speaker.

Sierra Jarmon, student commencement speaker, compared the graduates’ journey to the television show “The Amazing Race”.  “However, in this race, there is no first place,” she said. “We all finish strong and on time.”

Congratulations to the Springs Studio for Academic Excellence class of 2016...
