SRES Preschool Students Learn to Recycle

Springs Ranch Elementary School preschoolers learned the value of recycling during the program’s first ever Recycle Fair on April 28. Students participated in creative curriculum recycling lessons during the month of April, learning the importance of recycling and keeping the environment clean by engaging in art, science and sensory activities. Students created a recyclable project at home with their parents using only recyclable materials, and then presented their projects to parents and family members at the Recycle fair.

“They’re able to recognize how they can affect the environment, then show us what they’ve learned. I was really excited on how well the kids articulated their projects, and I think it’s definitely something they should continue to do,” said parent Michelle Murray.
