Student-Athletes Celebrate National Signing Day

Nine student-athletes signed letters of intent Feb. 1 during National Signing Day at Vista Ridge High School. Friends, family members and staff gathered in the school’s cafeteria to honor each student. Coaches told stories about the athletes, highlighting their positive character attributes and high level of work ethic. “They strive to be their best,” said Greg Monck, head volleyball coach. Family members accompanied the students on stage as they put pen to paper and signed for their athletic scholarships.
