Wolfpack Theatre Company Continues To Grow, Shines In Harvey

"The students, both cast and crew, did a wonderful job with this classic play," Wolfpack Theatre Company director Andrew Mello said about Harvey. The character driven play, performed November 13-15, 2014 at Vista Ridge High School. "It fell upon the actors to flesh out believable characters, said Mello, "and from the feedback of the audience, we did just that."

Vista Ridge High School's Wolf Pack Theatre was founded in 2010 under the direction of Andy Mello. The company is dedicated to excellence in high school theatre. Since its inception, Wolf Pack Theatre has strived to bring challenging, engaging, and thoughtful theatre to the Vista Ridge and Colorado Springs communities. "Our program is gaining a solid reputation for creating quality theatre," Mello noted after the troupe's 14th production ended.
Each year the troupe produces 2 main stage productions, an Improv comedy fundraiser,  two advanced theatre class projects and the Vista Ridge High School film festival. Past shows include: The Crucible, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Rough Magic, Working, I Hate Hamlet, The Outsiders, and Oklahoma! The Wolf Pack Theatre continues to grow each year with a group of dedicated staff and students.
Working out of the unfinished Black Box Theatre, Wolf Pack Theatre is supported by the Vista Ridge High School performing arts department which provides students with a rich performing arts experience through theatre arts, choir, and instrumental music. VRHS offers theatre I, theatre II, advanced theatre and film production.
The 2014-15 season continues with Damn Yankees in April 2015.

Vista Ridge High School and the Wolfpack Theatre became a charter member of the International Thespian Society.
