The Falcon Zone’s Firebird Nation Campus will accommodate its rapid expansion by adding additional learning space to Bennett Ranch Elementary School. Marked by an official ground breaking ceremony on Monday, February 14, GH Phipps will start building an addition to the existing Bennett Ranch Elementary School.
The new wing will provide nearly 54,000 square feet of learning space for sixth grade students, relieving pressure at nearby Falcon Middle School. The addition to Bennett Ranch Elementary School will welcome students in the fall of 2023.
The campus expansion is one of two significant D49 construction projects set to begin in 2022. Both are funded by the 2016 voter-approved 3B Mill Levy Override, which created a financial model to support the construction of new schools in D49 for years to come.
