    A formidable train of black fabric meandered into the Broadmoor World Arena the evening of Saturday, May 25. A Vista Ridge High School senior from the class of 2019 filled each billowing ebony robe -- the required dress for more than 330 student participants in the VRHS graduation ceremony.

    At 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 25, more than 260 Falcon High seniors walked together for their last assembly as FHS students. In flowing robes of green and gold, the class of 2019 strode single-file to find their seats for a commencement ceremony at the Broadmoor World Arena.

  • EIES Pioneer New Learning Methods

    Evans International Elementary School fifth-graders had the opportunity to explore social studies and science units at the USAFA Equestrian Center on May 6 for Pioneer Movement Day. Students were able to review units in a Movement Method based way with ten stations to learn more about animal adaptation, Native American history, art expression, shelter building and much more.

  • D49 Students Win from Amazing Pageant Experience

    There is a place in the spotlight for learners like Aislynn Cates, a sixth-grader at Falcon Middle School. “It made me feel unique, and like I can do anything,” shared Cates. She and other D49 students took the stage at the Colorado Miss Amazing pageant March 30. The event transcends pageantry, creating a platform for girls with disabilities to have their voices heard and their faces recognized.
