  • Beginning March 28, 2019, Vista Ridge High School’s Wolfpack Theatre will be moving to an online ticket reservation system. We’ve been working toward this change since the announcement of the new auditorium for several reasons. The system will help audience members prepay and select the seat of one’s choosing, ensuring that a seat is reserved even if the show sells out. In addition, we can now offer two separate lines for entrance to a performance: a will call booth for prepaid ticket pickup and a general admission line for those who choose to pay at the door, which will decrease lines and wait time outside of the auditorium. Finally, we will join many other top theatre programs in the Colorado Springs area who have had tremendous success with online systems to better track ticket sales and customers. We look forward to the online reservation system making a night at the theatre a more organized, pleasant experience!

Wolfpack Theatre is proud to begin using this system through BookTix.com for our Spring Production of FOOTLOOSE. Tickets for the general public will go on sale March 28, 2019 and will remain on sale until two hours prior to Curtain.

Due to the added convenience and expense of BookTix.com, Wolfpack Theatre Productions will now be $9 Adults and $7 Students. Matinees will remain $7 Adults and $5 Students. The quality and ease of the BookTix.com experience will justify the slight increase in ticket prices, and we look forward to seeing you at FOOTLOOSE!

  • 2017-2018 VRHS Wellness Success Story

As a result of grants from The Colorado Health Foundation and Medicaid, the resistance training department in cooperation with the athletic training department has been able to purchase functional training tools and equipment.

This functional training / athletic training capability between the two departments has allowed us to do preventative (prehab) protocols to help limit and even decrease the chances of severe injuries in our athletic teams as well as our general student population.  In addition, these items allow us to deal with injuries and provide top quality rehab to get those student / athletes back to normal activity.

Without the opportunity to purchase such items, our efforts to limit / prevent such injury would be inherently difficult.  We as a cooperating unit have seen a welcome decrease in our Lower Extremity injuries such as Knee ligament strain, ACL and ankle issues specifically.

  • Congratulations are in order for the Vista Ridge CyberPatriot Team!

Our team (the MegaCyberWolves), seniors at Vista Ridge High School have worked hard to advance from a field of 1,638 teams to just one of twelve that has qualified for the Air Force Association’s CyberPatriot VIII National Cyber Defense Competition. The competition will take place in Baltimore Maryland, April 11 – 13, 2016.

There has been a CyberPatriot team at Vista Ridge for 5 years, thanks to Northrup Grumman and the Air Force Association. The initial year that the competition was open to high schools, Vista Ridge joined. That team took the number one spot in the Pikes Region. Each year we have grown and continued to have success, making it to state and then regional rounds.

    CyberPatriot

This year our senior team, the MegaCyberWolves, placed first in the Southwest Region, and third overall nationally, guaranteeing them a spot at the national venue, Air Force Association’s CyberPatriot VIII National Cyber Defense Competition.
