  • Greetings Remington Elementary School Families,

At approximately 12:20 Wednesday afternoon RES staff noticed the smell of smoke in the building. RES administrators immediately called 911 and evacuated the school. All students moved quickly and safely to their evacuation points outside while our partners at the Colorado Springs Fire Department dispatched a crew to RES. CSFD gave the all clear to return to normal activities at 12:35 p.m, approximately 15 minutes after the initial alarm. Click here for more information:

  • No Dogs on School Property: For the safety of all our students, please do not bring dogs on school property when dropping off or picking up kids. Not only are many young children anxious around animals, but dogs can cause unsanitary conditions especially in the areas in which children enjoy recess. The safety and well-being of our students is top priority and we appreciate your assistance and understanding.
