BRES Updates

  • We want our students to be safe, especially during this last week of school.  Please know that our front doors do not open until 7:45.  Prior to that time, students are not actively monitored.  If your child is eating breakfast, we do open the doors at 7:30 so that those students have enough time to eat before school starts at 8:00.

  • Here are the lunch choices starting May 8th:

    8th - Hot dogs or chicken patty sandwich
    9th - breakfast for lunch or meatloaf sandwich
    13th - teriyaki chicken or bbq pork
    14th - sweet n sour chicken or fajitas
    15th - meatball subs or spaghetti w/ meatballs
    16th - frito pie or cheese quesadillas
    17th - mac n cheese or garlic chicken pizza
    20th - taco pizza or meatloaf sandwich
    21st - taco salad or philly
    22nd - hot dog or mac n cheese
    23rd - cheese pizza or cheeseburgers
    24th - Sack lunches for all grades

  • Good afternoon Bennett Ranch Elementary School family,
    District 49's safety and security team selected BRES for a lockdown drill on Monday, Dec. 17.
    This drill started at approximately 1:45 p.m. as part of ongoing efforts to continuously strengthen our safety procedures. Click here for more information.

  • Were you unable to attend the Watch D.O.G.S. Information Night?  Take a day off work, volunteer in your child's school, and come have fun by being a Watchdog!  Click here to view a presentation to learn about the program and the steps to signing up.

  • Calling all fathers, uncles, grandfathers, and more!  Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) is a fantastic opportunity to volunteer at Bennett Ranch Elementary and serve as a positive mentor for our students.  Bring the kids, eat some free pizza, and learn more about how you can make a positive impact by attending our Watch D.O.G.S.   • Were you unable to attend our PowerSchool Parent Support Night?

    If you are looking to create your account to access PowerSchool, here were the two biggest tips that emerged:

    1. Make sure you are using the Parent ID.  This will be your child's last name followed by a three-digit number.
    2. The password should be a string of numbers that are familiar.

District Updates

  • D49 Summer Meal Program 2019

    District 49 will offer breakfast and lunch services this summer at no cost to children. Good nutrition during the summer months helps prepare children for success once school is back in session.

  • School Meal Accounts Must Have Funds in May

    Starting May 1, student accounts must be funded to purchase meals. No students will be allowed to charge additional debt to their meal account. While District 49 often affords flexibility for young children in its elementary schools, each school year must end with all accounts current.
