School District 49 Board of Education Appoints Jack Ryan to Director District 2 Seat

The D49 Board of Education selected Jack Ryan by unanimous decision to fill the vacancy for Director District 2. Mr. Ryan will replace Deb Schmidt who stepped down from the seat earlier this year. 

Mr. Ryan officially stepped into DD2 position Wednesday, April 22, following a swearing-in ceremony at D49's Creekside Success Center.

Mr. Ryan, a retired U.S. Army Sergeant Major, resides in Peyton with his family. He works as a senior IT project manager and is an active PTA member at Bennett Ranch Elementary School, which one of his children attends.
