VRHS Senior Retreat

Making the Commitment

Principal Tom Payne speaks with a group of seniors during the class reatreat.

Gathered at Fox Run Regional Park for their Senior Retreat, Vista Ridge students were asked to make two commitments. The first is to commit to graduating in May.

Each student signed a blue robe that will be worn by the class-elected staff speaker at graduation, symbolizing their dedication to finishing strong.

They also reflected on the legacy they wanted to leave behind, writing personal commitments on class bracelets.

“You have so much power. Infinitely more than I have. So what are you going to do to make this place just a little bit better?” challenged Principal Tom Payne to the Class of 2025.

Several students pledged to be strong role models to younger students, achieve academic success, be leaders on their sports teams, and graduate.

Seniors also played games and participated in team-building activities to strengthen their bond as a class.
