Springs Studio Class of 2025 Sets Foot on a New Path
Friends and family of more than 50 Springs Studio for Academic Excellence graduates sat shoulder to shoulder to witness the Class of 2025 begin a new journey.
“The trail always provides,” said Lauren Jones, keynote speaker for the SSAE graduation ceremony. “The steps you’re going to be taking, one foot in front in front of the other, after today, that path has you. That trail will provide.”
59 of SSAE’s 75 graduates collected diplomas Friday. Following a long-standing tradition, SSAE faculty presented several students with awards of distinction including:
- Yeti of the Year Award: Mikayla Wikoff
- The Student-Athlete of the Year Award: Brandon Dean
- The Academic Scholar Award: Ella Moon Owens
- The Student of the Year Award: Melania Jackson
Melania encouraged her classmates to have courage in the face of new challenges.
“When we meet them with hope instead of fear, we give ourselves power. When we believe good things are possible, we start to notice more opportunities,” she said. “This, in turn, allows us to take more chances, and persist for longer; build a life that's not just impressive on paper, but genuinely fulfilling.”
Encouraged by the cheers of a lively crowd of supporters, the SSAE grads are proudly taking their classmate’s advice.
Congratulations to the SSAE Class of 2025!
