Sand Creek High School Hosts Student Leadership Conference

Sand Creek High School Hosts Student Leadership Conference

Sand Creek High School hosted the CHSAA Fall Student Leadership Conference for the Colorado on October 25. The event is held annually for high school students across the state of Colorado, with a different school hosting each year.

Team building activities, student lead presentations, and presentations for advisors were on the agenda this year.

“We worked hard to build a student centered culture, and we get to share that,” said Lauren Stuart, Sand Creek Zone Liaison.

Student representatives from Falcon High School, Vista Ridge High School, and Sand Creek High School were also in attendance.

Ainsley Blane, VRHS freshman, is enrolled in the school’s Beginning Leadership class. She thought this was a great addition to that curriculum. Her favorite part of day one was “getting to know more people and learn about leadership.”

Addie Opong, sophomore at SCHS, valued “participating in everything and and getting to hear ideas from all the different schools.”
