Guard Duty

 

“Woodmen Hills is a special place where when you walk in you can just feel that every single person here impacts kids,” says Principal Bethany Stegman.

One of those people is Crossing Guard Tom Beauchamp. Beauchamp has safely walked students to and from school for over five years.

“It’s a lot of fun seeing the kids every morning. My grandson is a fifth grader here,” says Beauchamp.

“That is a very busy intersection at that four-way stop. Not only is he there and welcoming kids, but he has to be extremely vigilant of kids coming and going, cars coming and going, stopping, not stopping. We appreciate him so much,” says Principal Stegman.
