Falcon Zone Teacher Nabs Top Teacher Honors

Renae Diggs, Health Teacher at Falcon Middle School, is SHAPE Colorado Health’s Teacher of the Year.

The Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE) honored Diggs in October during the annual SHAPE convention held this year at the Hyatt Regency in Denver. The Teacher of the Year award recognizes educators who demonstrate continuous dedication to the advocacy and enhancement of Health Education in Colorado. 

The awards committee noted Diggs has “personified the concept that the effort made to enrich the goals and objectives of health education is a labor of love, inspired by commitment and dedication.” 

When she’s not in her classroom setting at FMS, you will find Ms. Diggs coaching JV Tennis at Falcon High School.
