Dalzell Receives Jostens Award
Horizon Middle School Assistant Principal Elizabeth Dalzell walked into quite a surprise on Thursday, April 24.
With the support of Dalzell's fellow panthers, Phil Campbell from Jostens Renaissance surprised Dalzell with news that she will be inducted into the Jostens Renaissance Hall of Fame. She will be honored at a ceremony later this summer.
Courtney Hutchinson, HMS teacher, nominated Dalzell for the honor, saying, “Renaissance is not just something she does. She lives it. It's a lifestyle for her. And it's contagious. She just has everyone, every day, come in totally pumped to work no matter the situation. And she's able to do that for people outside of Horizon as well.“
Jostens Renaissance is a program that provides tools and resources to school and student leaders to create an environment where every single stakeholder is connected to their school.
