Continuity of Care

The application window for families requesting continuity of care placement opens
December 9. Please update your child's application. You will receive an email from
preschool@d49.org with our 2026-2027 placement offer for your child including
instructions on how to apply for UPK.

In D49, continuity of care consideration is given to families with returning students and
children of full-time staff members employed by D49 operated schools.

D49 does NOT consider siblings attending the district a priority for continuity of care
placement. If this is the only factor you are using for pre-registration, your request for
continuity of care will be declined.
