MRES Updates

  • December 10, 2019

Greetings Meridian Ranch Elementary School Families,

An MRES fire alarm sounded at approximately 2:35 Tuesday afternoon. MRES administrators immediately evacuated the school. All students moved quickly and safely away from the building while our partners at the Falcon Fire Department dispatched a team to respond.

Prior to their arrival MRES administrators determined the alarm was triggered inadvertently when a staff member was cleaning a sensor, and there was no active fire. Please see leadership updates for more information.

  • MRES Announces New Kiss-n-Go Lane

Students will now be able to be Dropped-off and Picked-up in our new Kiss-n-Go Lane in the South (gravel) parking lot. The image below shows the traffic flow for the new lane. There is also one minor change to the original kiss-n-Go: Vehicles may now only turn left when leaving the front parking lot during drop-off and pick-up times. This is to allow better traffic flow in the new lane. Click here to see a short video describing the traffic flow for all three lanes.
