    1st Day of School - Freshman only, regular hours and buses will run (No backpacks please)

  • Free Sports-School Physicals for Military Connected Students - Active duty and retired military families are invited to start the school year of strong with free sports and school physicals for students ages 4-21. Physicals will be provided at the Warrior Family Medical Clinic at Evans Army Community Hospial on Fort Carson. Bring ID cards for sponsor and children age 10 or older and any immunization records with you. Call the Access to Care line at (719) 524-2273 to set up an appointment. Available dates and times:

    Saturday, July 22: 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
    Saturday, Aug. 5: 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

2017-2018 School Year

  • Check-In and Registration Schedule Information and Resources

    Parents and students may come anytime between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. (limited support from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. as staff will be breaking for lunch) on the day assigned to the student's grade level. 

    • 9th and 12th Graders:
      • Tuesday, July 25, 2017

                            7:00 am - 11:00 am and 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

    • 10th and 11th Graders:
      • Wednesday., July 26, 2017
        7:00 am - 11:00 am and 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

    Download Registration Checklist to ensure you have accomplished all FHS Check In steps. 

    It is suggested to bring cash or check to pay class fees at time of check-in. There are separate payments required for Nutrition Services and Transportation bus fees, please use the provided links to remit payment for these services. Items that include a link may be accessed online. To speed up the check-in process it is recommended to download and fill out all applicable paperwork prior to scheduled check-in days. 

    • Student Schedules will be available for preview and printing beginning Tuesday, July 24, via parent/student portal access. Students that are new to District 49 or Falcon Zone will meet with a counselor during check-in to select classes for the fall semester.
      • Bell Schedule: When do we start? When do we let out? When do we eat? Monday-Thursday & Friday schedules are available here.
      • Locker Assignments: Locker information will be available on schedules.
      • Student IDs will be distributed during check-in immediately following pictures. 
        • All students IDs are printed in grade level colors and are required to gain access to Falcon High School during the school day.
        • Pictures orders can be made through the Lifetouch order form
    • Contact Information Updates: Contact information can be updated prior to check-in via parent/student portal.
    • School Documents & Forms: 
      • Nutrition Services
      • Kindle user agreement & insurance (AUA & Insurance)
        • **Kindles will be distributed to students during the first week of school through history classes; however, students WILL NOT receive a Kindle until FHS has received a signed user agreement. Insurance is available for all students and may be purchased through the finance office.
