Pikes Peak Early College High School
Pikes Peak Early College is a hybrid learning model. Our students are on campus three days a week for in-person high school classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Our on-campus college classes run in-person Monday through Friday. Many of our students take additional college classes off-campus through our partnered community colleges and universities around the state of Colorado. PPEC is a multi-district hybrid school. For students who simply live too far away to physically attend classes on our campus, we have full virtual options available as well.
2020-2021 School Year Update
As of November 16, 2020, PPEC is currently operating in an Enriched Virtual Model due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. All students will operate as full virtual students until otherwise determined. In an enriched virtual model, students work primarily from home utilizing their online curriculum. Teachers are available both in-building to offer assistance as well as online. All high school students are welcome to come into the building beginning the week of January 11th, 2021 on either a Monday or a Wednesday (no appointment needed) to work directly with their teachers as needed. Teachers will also continue to run online help sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please refer to the in-building and virtual schedules posted below for additional details. Whether students are coming into the building for assistance or utilizing online help sessions, we ask that all students review the students' expectations document linked below.
