  • Message from School Leadership

Welcome to this time we are calling E-49. During this unprecidented period of time we are striving to continue the connection with our Wildcat families. We are committed to being there for our community and providing high quality instruction through this trying season. We ask that as a school family we encourage and support each other as we navigate this new course with both patience and determination. Below you will find expectations that will guide our processes moving forward.

  • Student Expectations

Here are the expectations that apply to all Evans Elementary School students:

    • Log in to Google Classroom, Schoology, or ClassDojo (as directed by your classroom teacher) on E-learning days (Tuesday-Friday).
      • Failure to log in to Google Classroom, Schoology, or ClassDojo may result in an unexcused absence.
    • Follow your E-Learning plan that your teacher sent out for the day. We highly recommend that you create a daily routine or schedule.
    • Complete all assignments for your classes on the e-learning day and submit or post your assignments by 12:00am (midnight) of that day.
    • **Starting April 7th** Complete enrichment activities from a given menu every two weeks (see enrichment tab for more details).
    • Communicate with your teachers via email if you have questions or need assistance. Teachers will be available via email from 9:00am – 11:00am and 2:00-3:00pm, Tuesday through Friday.
    • Students that are unable to access Google Classroom or Schoology will contact teachers by email.
    • Students will also be allowed to scan and turn in work to the teacher through email if necessary.

As a guidline to kick-off distance learning we are looking for students to spend 20-25 minutes on each of the three main content areas (reading, math, and science/social studies) each E-learning day (Tues-Fri).

  • Teacher Office Hours

All Evan's Teachers will be available during office hours Tuesday-Friday from 9:00am-11:00am and 2:00pm-3:00pm. Please reach out with any questions, comments, or concerns. If you email a teacher outside of these hours, know that they will respond during the next office hours window.

  • Attendance

All teachers will take attendance by 9:00am the day following each learning day (after checking student interactions from the prior day)

Students are required to complete one of the following tasks to be marked as present for the day.
