D49 is returning to learn with a staggered return to in-person learning at the elementary level. 

    • August 18, 2020- First Day of E-learning for K-5 students
    • August 18th - September 4th- All elementary students will attend e-learning 
    • September 8th- K-2 students will return to in-person learning, while 3-5 continues with e-learning
    • September 14th- Students in grades 3-5 return to in-person with K-2

    Bus departs RVES and SES at 8:05

    Bus departs ALLIES / behind OES between 3:20 and 3:25
    Bus arrives at RVES and SES between 3:30 and 3:35
    Two separate buses will run: one for RVES loop and one for SES loop.

  • Important Back-to-School Information

    First Day of School: School begins for all ALLIES students on August 2, 2019The bell rings at 8:15 am and classes begin at 8:20 a.m. The first day is usually extra busy with new families, plenty of pictures and the excitement of a new school year. Please arrive early and use extra caution in the parking lot, the Kiss-n-Go Lane and the streets around the school. Thank you!

    School Hours: 8:20 a.m. - 3:05 p.m.


    Breakfast served 7:55 - 8:15 a.m in the OES/ALLIES cafeteria
    Students may line up by ALLIES doors at 8:10 a.m.
    First bell will be at 8:20 a.m. in homeroom class.
    (Homeroom class assignments to be communicated at Back-to-School Day.)
    Tardy bell at 8:25 a.m.

    Student Activity Fee:
     There will be a $25 activity fee for all ALLIES students. This fee will be used for science learning, team building exercises, PBiS systems & awards and grade level experience activites.  This is a required fee that is used to support our ALLIES students.

    2019-2020 Classroom Assignments:
     Students are on a 50 minute rotation schedule and will visit each teacher every day.  Student schedules and homeroom teacher assignments will be reviewed on Back-to-School "Day".

    Back-to-School Day: 

    Our Back-to-School Day will be Thursday, August 1, 2019.

    8:00 - 9:00 am - New 2nd grade students and parents

    9:30 - 10:30 am - New 3nd & 4th grade students and parents

    12:30 - 2:00 pm - ALL returning ALLIES students and parents


    This informative event will be a time when you can drop off your school supplies, learn about the unique workings of ALLIES and meet our staff. Each family will begin in the Blended Learning Lab and walk through their child’s schedule for a practice run following a brief presentation with Mrs. Thompson.  Please arrive in the Blended Learning Lab at your scheduled time.  You will receive your child’s schedule there and can then follow your child’s schedule to each class after the presentation.

  • Free Sports-School Physicals for Military Connected Students - Active duty and retired military families are invited to start the school year of strong with free sports and school physicals for students ages 4-21. Physicals will be provided at the Warrior Family Medical Clinic at Evans Army Community Hospial on Fort Carson. Bring ID cards for sponsor and children age 10 or older and any immunization records with you. Call the Access to Care line at (719) 524-2273 to set up an appointment. Available dates and times:
