FHEP Open House and Orientation

  • The teachers and staff of the Falcon Homeschool Enrichment Program will be hosting a series of Orientation meetings geared towards new families and anyone who may need a refresher or like a tour of our new facility on Thursday, July 27th.  At this meeting, families will have the opportunity to meet the other parents who have enrolled their children, receive updated program information, drop off school supplies, gather necessary documents for the beginning of the year and become acquainted with their students teacher and classroom.  Due to the importance of the material that is covered it is imperative that all families receive this information and attend at their designated time.  

    Enrichment Classes – 

    • Tuesday bunch ­ July 27th - 1:00 pm – 1:45 pm
    • Wednesday bunch - July 27th - 2:00 pm – 2:45 pm
    • Thursday bunch - July 27th – 3:00 pm – 3:45 pm

    We will be operating out of a wing at the Banning Lewis Preparatory Academy (serving 6th – 9th grade charter school students for 2017-2018) at 9433 Vista Del Pico Boulevard Colorado Springs, CO 80908.  We are excited to showcase this to each of you at our Orientation and have created the following visual aide to help families and students get orientated with our new space.  (NOTE – due to its new construction, online maps struggle to accurately locate our facility, but will lead to the general area.  For your situational awareness, we are in the large building on the Eastern edge of Vista Del Pico.)

    While the information that is presented will be recorded, please make your best effort to attend so that you can develop a familiarity with our facility. 

FHAP Orientation ­

  • TUESDAY, JULY 25 9 am - 3 pm

    During this meeting, families and students will proceed through their student¹s classes as follows.  Please consult their schedule (above) and plan to attend a corresponding session as well as one of the Welcome, Introductions & General Information offerings.  It is our expectation that ALL FHAP families and students will attend to learn more about the courses in terms of their approach, expectations, accessibility, and the materials that will be both needed and supplied.  If you are unable to attend, please let me know as soon as possible so alternate arrangements can be made.  While the Welcome, Introductions & General Information will be recorded, we will not be able to duplicate the material that is covered in the break-out sessions.

  • Free Sports-School Physicals for Military Connected Students - Active duty and retired military families are invited to start the school year of strong with free sports and school physicals for students ages 4-21. Physicals will be provided at the Warrior Family Medical Clinic at Evans Army Community Hospial on Fort Carson. Bring ID cards for sponsor and children age 10 or older and any immunization records with you. Call the Access to Care line at (719) 524-2273 to set up an appointment. Available dates and times:
