Kindergarten Assessment Days
July 24th and 25th
WHES is committed to providing an exceptional education for every child. We want to ensure classrooms are well balanced and students have a strong start to the school year. For this reason, teachers take the time to assess each learner’s strengths and needs prior to the first day of school. Incoming kindergarten students need to attend a 1-hour assessment with kindergarten teachers on July 24th or 25th. Please sign your child up for a testing slot that works best for you.

We will be conducting literacy assessments on Friday, August 10th for all K-5 students. Students will attend by appointment only. These assessments are designed to assist each classroom teacher with the implementation of skill-based reading groups to meet the needs of each child in order to maximize your child’s growth this year. We appreciate your support in setting up your child(ren) for success in literacy this year! Teachers will have a sign-up sheet for assessment day during Back-to-School Night or will send an email invite.
The Falcon Zone is focused on keeping elementary student fees as low as possible. Student fees assist with supporting Specials classes and classroom activities, helping provide a well-rounded education for our students.
