Greetings Bennett Ranch Families -

My name is Brian Smith, and I am your Executive Principal for the Firebird Nation Campus.  I am excited to welcome our Bennett Ranch Bulls to the Firebird Nation Campus and look forward to developing and creating new authentic learning experiences to help all of our students follow their pathway to success.  This is my 17th year in District 49.  I began my career as a Science Teacher at Falcon High School where I taught Chemistry and Advanced Placement Chemistry.  I then was an Assistant Principal at Skyview Middle School before coming to Falcon Middle School as Principal, where I have been the past 7 years.  This new opportunity leading the entire campus is exciting and I look forward to continued collaboration with our families as we make Firebird Nation Campus the best opportunity for our students.

Sincerely,
Brian Smith

I am honored to be serving as the Elementary Principal for Bennett Ranch Elementary School.  The opportunity to be a part of building a positive and successful school climate and culture from the ground up is one I am excited to begin!  Our school will be one in which everyone is dedicated to developing students who are creative, innovative, and life-long learners.

I have lived and worked in District 49 since 2005 in a variety of capacities including elementary teacher, instructional coach, and most recently as Assistant Principal at Falcon Middle School.  I have four future Bennett Ranch Bulls of my own who keep me on my toes! I look forward to meeting each and every one of you and supporting you on your academic journey!

As the Dean of Students for Bennett Ranch Elementary School, I am honored to play my part in unlocking the possibilities and potential for each and every child.  Being involved in the process from the ground floor allows us to construct a culture and learning environment that will build firm foundations and prepare students for a future filled with success.

This is my sixteenth year teaching, and I have been blessed that all of my experience has occurred in District 49.  At Springs Ranch Elementary, I truly developed an appreciation for the elementary spectrum by teaching fifth, first, second, and third grades in addition to serving as a technology specialist for one year.  For the past five years, I have been a technology specialist for all the students at Meridian Ranch Elementary.  An interesting fact about me is that my elementary school mascot was also a Bull, and it feels like coming home!  I can't wait to meet the community, parents, and students of Bennett Ranch Elementary School, and I look forward to a fantastic school year.
