WHES PTA Announcements
WOODMEN HILLS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PTA
WHES PTA is a diverse group of parents, teachers and community members excited about the future of kids at Woodmen Hills Elementary School.
We provide an excellent opportunity for parents to meet one another, get comfortable with the school and it’s staff, and support each other’s common goals. Plus, we have a lot of fun in the process! Your PTA needs your unique talents, whether it’s volunteering a few hours a month or a few hours a year, serving on committees, attending meetings or sharing your ideas on our social media and community involvement. This year may look very different than it has in the past and we look forward to working with you to support our school and students as we navigate through these changes by stepping in and stepping up where we can. Our meetings are open to all, but you must be a paid member to vote or chair a committee.
By joining the PTA, you….
- Directly Benefit Your Child(ren)’s Education
- Build School and Community Connections
- Tap Into a Varied Network of Parents and Professionals
- Are a Role Model
- Witness Improvement

District 49 schools that have a successful and active PTA are: Falcon Elementary, Meridian Ranch Elementary, Woodmen Hills Elementary, Stetson Elementary, Ridgeview Elementary, Remington Elementary, Falcon Middle School, Skyview Middle School, Falcon High School and Vista Ridge High School.
The job of El Paso Council PTA is to support these schools and their PTA board. Each year, El Paso Council hosts Fall Training. Here new and experienced board members will learn about their new positions, dig deeper into their existing positions, learn more about membership and learn ways to improve their PTAs. In addition to training, this event offers amazing keynote speakers, great vendors, opportunities to hear about education legislation initiatives, and a chance to speak with superintendents and senior PTA board members. All PTA/PTSA members are welcome to join us!
