School of Choice

If any of these apply you must complete a School of Choice registration application: 

• If you reside outside of District 49 and would like to enroll in one of our District 49 schools to include the OWL Dual Language Immersion Program at Stetson Elementary School, or a District 49 Charter school listed here: Grand Peak Academy, and Pioneer Technology and Arts Academy, please visit our Enroll Now page, and select “Choice School” option.

• Please see the District Map for your neighborhood school.

• If you are currently enrolled in District 49 and would like to attend a different District 49 school that is not in your neighborhood boundaries, which includes the OWL Dual Language Immersion Program at Stetson Elementary School, or one of the three District 49 Charter schools listed above.

  • Sign into your Parent Portal account. PowerSchool Sign In Guide

  • If you do not have a Parent Portal account please use the following link: PowerSchool Parent Portal: Account Creation Guide, or contact your current school office staff to sign up and obtain access.

  • Once you have logged into the parent portal, please use the following link for direction on completing the Internal School of Choice Form.

The following Charter Schools process their own student registration applications, please contact them directly: Banning Lewis, Rocky Mountain Classical Academy, Rocky Mountain Home School, Mountain View Academy, Power Technical Early Colleges, GOAL Academy.

If you are enrolling in any of our District 49 Charter Schools transportation may be available, please contact the Transportation Department.

Students who choice into a District 49 school outside of their neighborhood school will not have transportation available. Please contact the Transportation Department for more information.
