Hello! Welcome to my bio page! My name is Leah Phelps. I am honored to be a part of this amazing staff here at Vista Ridge and it is my pleasure to not only teach your wonderful students but to also partner with you in their education and growth. This is my 8th year teaching and I have taught all grades from Kindergarten to 12th graders from students with severe needs to students with mild-moderate learning disabilities.

Special education has always been my passion and I have always strived to be an advocate for those who often go unheard and struggle with traditional learning. I have really found a love for working with high school students. I truly feel that students are the future and it is our responsibility to help guide them and to teach them. I truly love and care for any student that crosses my path!
