Hello Eagles, 

I am Linda Merritt and I am one of the 8th Grade U.S History teachers here at Skyview Middle School. I am so excited and grateful to be teaching US History. US History is my absolute favorite course to teach and area of study. Previous to working here at Skyview, I worked in other D49 middle schools teaching 6th or 8th grade History. My goal is to create a classroom culture that is safe, fun and innovative. Additionally, helping students develop 21st century skills through the past. 

When I am not at school I can be found with my husband and daughter. We love traveling, going to soccer games, exploring the mountains, and watching Bobs Burgers.

I am excited to get to know and work with your student(s). I have an open-door policy for my students, parents, and coworkers; I am always available for feedback, insight, and support.
