Welcome to Fifth Grade!  I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year. This is my 20th year teaching! am excited to challenge your child and help them take ownership of their learning and develop leadership and teamwork skills so they are prepared for middle school next year. 

I grew up on a farm in Washington and moved to lovely Colorado nine years ago.  I attended Eastern Washington University, go Eagles!  My husband and I raised our three children in Washington. I love traveling and have journeyed to Kenya, Croatia, Mexico, and Ecuador.

I'm looking forward to this school year filled with lots of learning and fun!
