I have always wanted to be in education in one form or another. I earned my Bachelor's in Elementary Education at Chadron State College and have been in the classroom as a teacher for the last 13 years. My teaching experience includes upper elementary and middle school levels in both traditional public schools and charter school settings. After serving in many leadership roles throughout my teaching career, I developed a passion to support not only students but also my colleagues in an administrative capacity. I earned my Masters in Educational Administration from Lamar University. I am excited to join Springs Studio as the Middle School Dean!

I am a Colorado Native. I grew up in a small town in Northeastern Colorado and moved to the Colorado Springs area after graduating from college to be with my husband (high school sweetheart at the time), who was attending school at Colorado College. We fell in love with the area and have been here ever since. Together we have three young children and a dog named Bowzer. I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, and traveling.
