Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Danielle Mayer
Hello and welcome to third grade, Raider Families! My top priorities this school year are to make your child feel safe, welcome, and enjoy coming to school each day. We will strive to make connections with one another as well as develop a loving, trusting, and caring classroom community.
This will be my fourteenth year of teaching and my tenth year of teaching in District 49. Over the course of my teaching career, I have taught technology to 3rd-5th grade students for one year, third grade for one year, fourth grade for ten years, and first grade for one year. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in May 2010 with a Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies and an emphasis in English Language Arts. In September 2016, I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Master of Arts in reading.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and our four-year-old son, Lincoln. We love to go on walks and be outdoors together. We enjoy living in this community and we often spend our time playing at Stetson Park.
I enjoy teaching children and I especially appreciate the new knowledge they bring to me each and every day. In our classroom, you can expect that your child will be thinking critically, problem solving, collaborating, and much more! I am so excited to meet each of you and begin my first year at Stetson Elementary!
