Dear Third Grade Families,

I am beyond excited to be teaching third grade at IVES this year! Through my wonderful experiences as a volunteer and substitute teacher last year, I know that IVES is the place for me! I believe in creating a classroom culture that is inclusive, nurturing, and active with hands-on learning experiences that foster life-long learning. 

A native of South Carolina, I am a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in business administration, double majoring in marketing and management with a minor in general education. My Master’s degree is in Curriculum & Instruction from New Mexico State University. 

I have been married to my husband Steven, also a native of South Carolina, for twelve years. Through his job as an engineer in the Army, we have lived in New Mexico, Missouri, Texas, Germany, Kansas, and now Colorado. We have been blessed with three children (Natalie 8, Matthew 6, & Hannah 3), a Cocker Spaniel (Cooper) and two bunnies (Waffles & Buttons) who definitely keep us busy! 

Our family loves to travel, and we spend a lot of time outdoors, whether skiing, camping, swimming, hiking, or cheering on our favorite sports teams!
