Welcome Evans families!

I am so excited to be here teaching third grade. I can't wait to learn all about you!

Here are some facts about me...

I've lived in Colorado Springs almost 18 years and have been teaching 12 of those. I've taught kindergarten through 4th grade; each grade has its own unique characteristics and I've enjoyed each grade level. While I like to teach all the subjects, math and writing are my jam. The writing part comes from my previous career -- a newspaper reporter. My bachelor's degree is in journalism and I worked at two newspapers before becoming a teacher. 

I love lattes and coffee shops and most weekends you'll find me on a hiking trail.
