Hi! My name is Kaitlin Genevish and I am one of the preschool teachers at Ridgeview Elementary. I started at Ridgeview in 2021 and I love working here.

I grew up outside of Chicago. I went to college in Florida and that’s where I started my teaching career. My family and I moved to Colorado in 2020. We love it here. On our weekends we spend most of our time outdoors, camping, and off- roading.

Teaching preschool has always been a passion of mine. I believe that all students have the potential to succeed and preschool is where it all starts. Although it seems like we play all day, that’s where we do most of our learning! Play-based learning is essential for preschool-aged children, along with establishing fine and gross motor skills, social emotional skills and independent functioning.
