My name is Brandi Thoreson and I am the health aide at IVES. I started back in August of 2021 and have been so happy to be a part of this community since then.

I was born and raised in the Denver area and came to Colorado Springs almost two years ago. I moved here with my husband and four children who are 17,15,13 and 8 years old. My youngest is in second grade here at Ives.

I have ten years of medical experience. I worked in nursing homes and primarily took care of the memory care patients. I also did home health care for about two years. My passion has always been to help people and take care of them. This is my first time working with children and I absolutely love it. It has been such a great experience to be a part of the school and just help take care of all the kids. 

In my spare time I love to spend time with my family and do outdoor activities. We are big on family time and spending as much time together before our children grow up and start their own adventures.
