Hello Everyone,

I am so excited about returning to FHEP for another year teaching 2/3rd grade enrichment and continuing as the FHP Home Based Education Specialist!  My husband and I call Falcon our home.  We have three children plus three super grand babies.  Two of our daughters have graduated from homeschooling high school and our son will be a senior at Falcon High School this year.  Over the years, I have had the privilege of homeschooling my own children and watching them grow in public school at different times.  I have a huge heart for homeschoolers and the homeschool lifestyle, so I love being a part of the FHP community.  Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I feel beyond blessed to learn with our students in 2/3rd grade.  As the FHP Home Based Education Specialist, I get the privilege of supporting families in our community with their homeschool journeys.  Our staff and myself offer seminars, workshops, parent partnerships, and one on one support for families in FHP.

This year, in our 2/3rd grade classes, we will be studying our country in our America the Beautiful unit and the Ancient Civilizations of Egypt and Rome.  In science, we will study rocks/minerals/erosion, simple machines, and states of matter.  Our upcoming field trips may include going to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.  For a more detailed description of our unit objectives for the year, please see the attached link below for our 2023-2024 Scope and Sequence.
