Hello! My name is Whitney Smooté (pronounced Smoo-Tay). I am an Affective Needs teacher at Falcon Middle School. This is my 4th year teaching at this awesome school. I have been in education, working with students with special needs for 23 years. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. When I am not educating and working with awesome students, I love spending time with my wife and two children. We like spending time playing board games and watching our favorite movies and shows together. I also have two energetic, intelligent dogs. Sometimes they are too smart for their own good. I love teaching and being apart of a student's world as they learn and grow into young adults.
