Mrs. Marjorie McKeal

My name is Marjorie McKeal, and I am one of the Husky Hike intervention teachers.  I am dedicated to providing students with a quality education and a safe, nurturing environment where the students can be successful.

I started my educational career in Falcon D49 20 years ago.  I have been fortunate to be a part of the Husky staff for the last 10 years, 8 years as an assistant principal and the last 3 years as a reading interventionist and SOAR/GT teacher.  I hold an MA in Education and in Leadership, as well as a teacher and an administrative licensure.

Raised by a father in the Army, I had the opportunity to live in many states across the United States, as well as other countries: Korea, Italy, and Germany.  This gave me the opportunity to experience the diverse cultures our world has to offer.  Following in my father's military footsteps, it has also been an honor to serve with the Colorado Air National Guard for the last 24 years as a Security Forces member.

I am happily married with two stepchildren. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, relaxing, and doing yoga.  Our beautiful state has so much to offer, so we take advantage of the Colorado sunshine and the endless trails.
