Mr. John C. Norgord
My name is John Norgord. I have been working with children for the better part of my life. I have worked as a Special Education Teacher for the past three years; prior to teaching I worked as a paraprofessional for more than ten years and was the Volunteer Director for Special Olympics of Arizona. In addition to teaching I also work in Youth Sports for the Briargate YMCA.
This year our class will be learning about letters, words, and language. Students will have oppotunities to use their imaginations through writing, music, and art. They will figure out number sense in math and discover how the world works through science. They will experience fitness through running and playing in P.E. Most importantly students will be learning life skills and a better understanding of themselves and those around them through social groups.
