My name is Kaitlin Vizena. This is my third year teaching fourth grade at Evans Elementary! I am excited for another great school year! 

I enjoy reading, hiking, biking, and playing volleyball. I am originally from Illinois. Since moving to Colorado two years ago, I have been trying to enjoy the mountains as much as possible. 

I also value spending time with my family. I am recently married, so I have been enjoying as much time as possible with my husband and our dog (Milo) and cat (Phoebe). 

Since family is so important to me, I try to find ways to make the classroom community feel like a family. I am still learning and growing as a teacher and I appreciate having the space to evolve right alongside my students.
